描述:MMP-2/MMP-9 Inhibitor V is a cell-permeable, sulfonamido analog of SB-3CT with increased aqueous solubility and improved selectivity for MMP-2 and MMP-9. At high concentrations, it has been shown to inhibit MMP-3, MMP-7, and MMP-1. It has been reported to act as an irreversible inhibitor via binding to the enzyme active site. Additionally it has been reported to potently suppress cell migration and invasion of HT1080 cells. Unlike the general MMP inhibitor GM6001 , this product is not known to block the activation of cellular pro-MMP-2 by MT1-MMP.
