描述:N^G, N'^G-Dimethyl-L-arginine di(p-hydroxyazobenzene-p'-sulfonate) is a reversible inhibitor of nitric oxide synthesis in vitro. In humans, this inhibitor is found in plasma and its accumulation may play a role in the hypertension and immune dysfunction of patients with chronic renal failure. The salt form is more stable than the dihydrochloride.
